Ready to make the most out of your Cold Mountain weekend? We have just the thing for you.
New to this year’s festival, we will be offering guided fly fishing on both the Lake and River. Curtis Wright Outfitters out of Weaverville, North Carolina will be helping us put people on the water and on fish on Saturday, June 1st. We are offering 2 hour time slots for both wade fishing (standing in the water), and from a boat. All equipment will be provided for you by your professional guide. A fishing license is required, and the folks at Curtis Wright can help you out with that as well.
The cost for fishing is $100 per person for boat fishing (2 people per boat) and $75 for wade fishing (3 person group max). We will only have a limited number of available slots at any given time, and there are set start times, so we do recommend you signing up as soon as possible to ensure your time and type of trip. To sign up, get more information, or see available time slots, please contact Head Guide Josh Garris. Prepayment is required to reserve time slots. Reservations can also be made both Friday and Saturday for all remaining time slots.
Festival tickets are required for all anglers during the festival weekend. Want to learn about fishing at Lake Logan other days of the year. Check here.
Never fly fished? Curtis Wright can help. All guides are super patient and are great at working with beginners or seasoned pros. We look forward to seeing all of your great photos and hearing the even better fish stories!
