Volunteers

We need Festival Volunteers!

Festival volunteers commit to at least four hours before, during, or after the festival for various areas like set-up, ticket sales, token sales, family area, parking, security, and others. In exchange, they receive a Festival entry, a t-shirt to be worn while volunteering at the Festival, and water during their volunteer shift. Volunteers are responsible for their own vendor food and alcohol purchases at the Festival. Volunteers are required to attend one of three training sessions. Dates and times to be announced. One will be in Asheville, one will be at Lake Logan, and one will be via Zoom.

2023 Planning Team

The CMMF Planning Team meets approximately monthly from December through August to plan, execute, and evaluate the Festival. Members must be able to attend and work the majority of the Festival on Saturday, August 12, 2023 as well as the day before and morning after. Team members commit to attending meetings (typically held via Zoom and occasionally at Lake Logan) regularly. Meetings may be more sporadic through April and more often as the time for the festival draws closer. Each member will be assigned a focus area.

Team members will receive Festival entry and a t-shirt to be worn at the Festival. If needed, Friday and Saturday Festival lodging can be provided in the dorms or tent camping. Team members are invited to the Saturday night VIP after-party. Team members have access to complimentary food in the VIP tent but are responsible for their own vendor food and alcohol purchases at the Festival.
